The Gendorf Chemical Park is growing: Pruvia is building one of the largest plastic-to-oil plants in Europe from summer 2025. The process uses pyrolysis to convert non-recyclable mixed plastic waste into circular naphtha, which is used in the petrochemical industry to produce new plastics. With an annual capacity of 35,000 tonnes, the plant contributes to the sustainable defossilization of the chemical industry.
